The Oxford housing market is under massive strain. Homelessness is very visible and rising. Young professionals share houses rather than owning their own. Keyworkers struggle to pay rent. Land for building is limited and the greenbelt is jealously protected. Yet the city and its region attract inward investment, jobs and population even in times of recession. With experience in social housing, development and project management I would like to contribute solutions that make a difference. By modernising properties, changing their use and maximising their occupation we can provide rental accommodation at a competitive cost and in some cases provide accommodation for the homeless.
